Arriving just as the Halloween season starts, one of the highest-rated scary movies of the past few years is making a special return to movie houses, this time only in IMAX presentation.
This movie named Sinners, a project the work of Ryan Coogler, is scheduled to come back in certain IMAX locations starting the 30th of October, with a limited engagement ending on the 5th of November.
For those who saw this horror story during its initial cinema run, you already know what a amazing possibility this offers for one more viewing in a theater.
But, in case your original screening did not include IMAX, you have the opportunity to fix that, since the movie looks completely spectacular presented in IMAX screen.
Given the fact its original theatrical run was cut short in terms of IMAX showings, due to another film occupying those slots soon after debut, this could turn out to be the initial opportunity to experience it in large format.
Then again, maybe you didn't watched the film so far. If so, it’s time to correct that situation.
You won't find a better season for enjoying a eerie feature, most notably a story that transforms scary movies.
Thankfully, the director has considerable expertise in this area, having done the same with boxing films as well as superhero features.
The end result is an exciting but also heartbreakingly terrifying narrative packed with gore, family trauma, romantic loss, the undead, plus the talented actor playing two main characters as two brothers known as the twins Smoke & Stack.
We requested Michael B. Jordan to perform this challenging role technically, portraying two different characters, but it also required acting that was essential to have the backstory we developed before to make it work.
Observing him praised within the industry and other folks in Hollywood, I believe it would signify a lot to him.
Looking ahead, it's clear how the movie absolutely gave the director the drive to continue exploring the spooky space.
He’s earlier shared a new X-Files currently being developed.
Reflecting on additional factors is behind his choice to reboot the beloved series, he noted:
Just as with my relationship with Rocky through my dad, the show is deeply meaningful with my mom.
My mother is everything to me — she is present this evening — so this is a big one personally.
I want to do justice with her and the fans. My mother has seen part of the stuff I created for the project. My mom is enthusiastic.
There’s no telling when the director's version on the sci-fi show will get the light of day.
At the very least, you all receive a final opportunity to watch his absolutely amazing film as it comes back to IMAX starting the 30th.
