Come mid-January, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with an intergalactic heist adventure. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."
But even the smaller games set to join the catalog are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, becomes available next week — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.
The British post-apocalyptic game from last year may draw you in remarkably quickly.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the developers behind Sniper Elite, also warrants your attention. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not first-party juggernauts that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. The lineup provides a solid mix of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that didn't get the attention they were due initially — which makes them ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.
